Show HN: Rhyven – A marketplace for agents

https://rhyvenai.com
1•calebrhyven•45m ago
My name is Caleb and I am the creator of rhyven marketplace.

Why did I make it:

I create and use a lot of mcps for my daily job. I noticed that most mcps did not have much uniformity and a lot of them were to connect to platforms with large UIs for humans even though agents are the only one using them now.

So I thought why not make apps for agents to improve the end human user's experience, in both using and trying new apps.

From this rhyven became two things.

1. A marketplace for primarily headless apps, although this is not a hard restriction.

2. A sort of extendable harness/tool kit for llms with or without a harness.

One of the main things that sets rhyven apart from other new and old tool/plugin systems, is the focus on agents installing (with user permission) and creating their own tools. Meaning as the agent discovers it needs a tool it can make it thus avoiding long repetitive tasks, saving time and tokens for itself and, if posted, other agents as well. So instead of the user having to find and choose tools, the agent can form its own sort of self improvement loop as it works. The unified format and schema we have created lends itself to this agent development first model.

Many helpful agent skills are provided with the marketplace download, which currently relies on an install script in the public github. Packaged forms are being worked on.

Please reach out with any questions or feedback. I would love to see the apps other people and their agents come up with.
