We built CropGuide for people who don't code (or use platforms that don't allow custom code) but do want to improve the quality of images uploaded by their users.
To make that possible, we've built an admin tool where you configure your image requirements. Then you add a script tag to the page with the file upload field, either a standard file input or something more exotic powered by a library, and that's it.
The script catches images before they're added to the file input and lets the user edit them. Once edited, CropGuide places the resulting image back in the file input and everything continues as normal.
We really wanted to stay away from storing or processing images on our servers, so all of this happens client-side. Only the image requirements are fetched from the server.
Of course we're sharing because we're excited about having built and launched something new. Now it's fingers crossed that we can get some traction.
Would love to hear what you think!
