Ask HN: What are all my submissions getting flagged

2•0mbre•50m ago
I have tried a couple of time to show HN a open source project I am releasing and got an instant(non human) [flagged] mentioned in the title. I wonder why that is. I have been on HN for a long time and nothing should be suspicious about my account. Any ideas on what could be going on ?

all or one, I only see one flagged submission, which looks like thousands of other agent team frameworks generated with ai
0mbre•45m ago
I've deleted the previous one. It does look like that, but it's not (wouldn't take you long to find out why too)
verdverm•42m ago
they are all the same in the sense it's some persons attempt at encoding their personal approach and markdown wordsmithing into some agent framework

you all say the same thing... mine is different, just look, but it's all the same boring thing, that's why they get flagged

in your case, it's an even heavier framework that requires replacing the tools I use today, from a brief skim, not considering any further, software is too easy now, we need to revisit the Lean Startup as a dev community

0mbre•38m ago
I dont think thats it cause it was instant, in a non human time.

Thanks for the input though

you get on the naughty list when you do this too much, deleting is generally against the rules and works against you

done. thank you

The best way to use HN is to not give even the tiniest shit about what people say or do or if your posts get flagged or ignored. If you're going to post something, just post it and never look back. Resist the urge to care whether anybody actually reads your thing or responds. Just read or post or comment, don't interact, don't expect others to either. If you lower your expectations appropriately you will never be disappointed.
0mbre•30m ago
thanks for the input, tbh my expectation were pretty low to start with :D

I am thinking since my account hasn't posted in a while they might have an automated mechanic in place cause I am sure this wasn't a human action. It was instant.

Got auto flagged for putting 2 ?'s in my title lol. Emailed them and reposted without punctuation and it was fine.
0mbre•8m ago
odd. I've contacted them. Thanks for the input
