Thank God!!! I was thinking that my system is somehow shit. I recently upgraded to golden gate after 6 years. That too because apps stopped supporting older version.

After updating...

That shitty AI/Siri/context service was consuming 300%+ cpu. Forgot the name. Can't even disable it without disabling SIP which requires booting in recovery mode.

Then, there was this spotlight defaults... indexing every fcking thing.. including files and data from other apps and eating away 100%+ cpu.

And then this: you can't disable the glass effect.. and this shi't is taxing on cpu. You can't even disable transparency fully.

And then there were a few more ... killed all of them, booted the machine in recovery, disabled SIP, and just disabled the startup of all the bloat that Apple shipped to the my system.

I still miss my 6 year old MacOS version .. it was buttery smooth ... this thing sucks.. whole performance is jerky. Iam hating every single minute of using this.

This focus problem is a general Apple issue. Open search in the App Store on your iPhone or iPad and... the search text box is not in focus. Open search in Apple Music and... the search text box is not in focus. It irritates me multiple times a day.
