How it works: computer vision senses your full-body motion, running locally on Apple silicon (M1 or later). The music you play generates new gameplay levels (you can play NTS mixtapes or stream your own playlists).
There are seven movement-based games for launch, ranging from tennis to alien combat. In each one, your body is the controller. Villa also features a gesture-based interface, so you control everything touchlessly from across the room.
Here’s 30 seconds of gameplay: https://youtu.be/IyhIom8TgZE
It’s free to download and play (we plan to add subscriptions down the line).

The dream of spatial computing has been locked inside a single idea: wearables. It’s a vision that's exciting, but it’s focused on a class of devices that most of the world doesn’t currently own or use.
Rather than being limited by form factor, we decided to take a different path, where fundamental problems like optics, compute, battery life, thermals, daily behavior and mass adoption are already solved. So we're launching on Mac laptops and desktops, with more devices coming soon.
