I've spent the last few months reverse-engineering and reimplementing Apple's iMessage protocol as an open-source Kotlin library with AI.
I was trying to develop an iMessage based tool for the Light Phone 3, but was hard blocked because all current implementations are closed source, licensed, or dead.
So I built a permissively-licensed implementation that a normal OSS project could actually build on.
If you want to help, please contribute to the project.
