How to promote my non-profit edtech platform?

1•rohansrma•1h ago
I built placeprep.app and added good learning contents covering ai inference engineering, context engineering, system designs and others but it's not showing up much. I have growing users but it's not growing as faster as I thought. I can't invest money at this point. Do you have any idea on how to grow organically, so that more peeps can join?

wherever u add it , u should provide the link , make it available to as much users as possible.
rohansrma•44m ago
already doing and getting traffic but not as expected.
verdverm•41m ago
I looked at the site, looks largely AI generated, is that the case?
rohansrma•38m ago
you mean ui wise? If so, then it's not. but yes, AI is used a lot to keep things aligned.
verdverm•35m ago
I mean content wise, it has the tell tale signs and I find it very unlikely you wrote that much yourself - and by proxy - audited it for correctness, completeness, and coherence.

A good rule of thumb is "if you want human attention, put human effort into creation"

rohansrma•29m ago
nopes, I didn't write all those myself. I audited them and kept only the things that are important from an engineer's perspective.

also, I used ai to rewrite what I had as raw content. (it's reworded completely by ai. and i reviewed that myself, it felt easy for readers to read.)

removing those ai signs is easy but I don't want to.

verdverm•16m ago
Then perhaps you have answered your own question, humans don't want to read Ai writing

If you actually care about helping others learn, you will change your course

I work at an edtech company (far from the content on this site) and I have to say the only real value in companies like this in an age of AI being able to spin up a platform in a few hours is human-written content. Otherwise why wouldn’t a person studying for one of these just ask Claude to write up a lesson plan?

Human generated content is quite literally the only thing left.
