I started looking into OpenProject as an open-source JIRA alternative for personal project, and wanted a way to have my AI agents pick up tasks and complete them automatically.

So I put together this OpenProject Agent Engine. It auto assigns the 'work package' (ticket), then kicks off the agent to do the work. Once complete, the agent opens a PR then leaves a detailed comment on the ticket. The engine then assigns the ticket to a QA code review agent. If it passes, the PR gets merged and and ticket is closed. If it doesn't pass, it gets kicked back to the original agent to fix the issues.
