Wayside is a journal inspired by old DOS terminals and retro adventure games. Each day you open the app, you get a new scene next to a campfire with some information about the world. After a few days, you'll start to discover new biomes and meet new characters.

I always kind of bounced off the "mindfulness" of wellness apps, but find retro game aesthetics super comforting. So I wanted to create a place to write notes that you could return to every day and that felt like a magical old DOS terminal.
