I have published the pages at https://dsp.gundy.dev/
My main goal, initially, was to build something for myself, as a way to refresh my memory and/or satisfy my curiosity on topics I love. My problem is that I find signal processing textbooks dry. Static diagrams and heavy math don't engage me very well, and I much prefer things I can interact with. As the pages started taking shape, I started thinking others might get some benefit too.
I've tried to keep the pages relatively light on math, except where it genuinely illuminates, and also keep the pages full of interactive examples. For example an in-browser acoustic modem is built up piece-by-piece and used to demonstrate modulation; multiple synths are playable with MIDI keyboards; many pages give you the ability to record your own samples and use them eg. for pitch shifting or compression or modelling your own guitar body in the physical modelling page. There's the ability to measure the SNR of your own room to determine its capacity to carry information, and much more.
I'm genuinely interested in any and all feedback - things that I could have covered better, other topics to include etc. I still have a roadmap of a number of things I'd like to cover, and I figured before I get too much deeper, it could benefit from some wider socialisation and feedback.
Also note: this is an ad-free hobby project and for the foreseeable future will remain that way.
All demos run in the browser only, no data is sent to, or processed by anything other than your own machine.
Thanks!
