There are still a few kinks to be worked out, but Conductor 0.92.1’s own frontend can run on this project’s Rust shell and sidecar. Every one of its on-screen strings, native commands and sidecar methods is matched or listed as a deliberate difference. On scripted scenarios, this project’s sidecar produces the same events as Conductor’s.

Built with Opus 5.5 orchestrating Deepseek-flash agents with Umbel and Pleach (see plotplot.ai) with Sonnet reviewing each batch and Opus fixing what the reviews found.
Size: about 197,000 lines of TypeScript and Rust, not counting tests.
Cost: About ~50 USD of DeepSeek plus ~70% of a weekly Claude 20x subscription.
PS: Oh, and it duplicates some of their cloud functionality by running agents on cloudflare workers/containers
