"Pointless" because it's trying to solve/make progress on "beggar-my-neighbor" which Conway called an anti-Hilbert problem [0]?

Technically interesting I guess.

But, I resent having to wade through the OP's cruddy write up to get at it.

It's reports like this that make techies, dorks, and hackers easy prey by those engineers who took English and technical writing seriously.
