Any chance of a Firefox extension? I'd love to play with this, but I don't allow Chrome on my personal devices.
EbNar•1mo ago
Maybe the OP doesn't allow Firefox on their personal devices and is so unable to develop for it.

>Maybe the OP doesn't allow Firefox on their personal devices and is so unable to develop for it.

No need to be snarky.

EbNar•1mo ago
Well, in my opinion you've been very snarky and rude to OP.
firefax•1mo ago
How so? I said positive things about the project and expressed a desire to explore it.

Do you work for Google? Maybe I hit a nerve by mentioning my boundaries.

EbNar•1mo ago
You didn't. You just needed to brag about your choices. Let me tell you a secret: nobody cares, you're not special and you're not saving the internet. I can't stand Mozilla's absolutists, above all when it's an absolutely terrible company, as bad as Google (just smaller) and it made me leave Firefox for good after... 20 years? They don't care about users anymore, they're just after the money.

Don't you want Chrome/Chromium? Well, you can't have a nice extension, as the developer can't likely be bothered with your paranoia. Nobody cares what you allows or what you don't on your devices. Stick with your browser and stop complaining.

On a side note, let's not even mention the equally terrible FF/Mozilla community, accusing people of "working for Google" (happened twice in two days) every time someone calls them out. What a idiocy.

Nice one. How does this relate to/differ from Chrome Devtool's inbuilt network throttling feature? I usually use this Chrome feature to test apps over bad/slow network.
xnx•1mo ago
https://developer.chrome.com/docs/devtools/settings/throttli... for anyone who isn't familiar.
xnx•1mo ago
Sounds similar to Toxiproxy, Trixter, or Speed bump, but with a control in Chrome.
