Hey HackerNews, I've been working on my product Yumi for the past while as a solo founder. Although this isn't an official launch, I finally got the courage to open the gates up for sign ups and downloads.

For a bit of background, Yumi is a desktop workspace OS app with AI chat, notes, web viewer, and built-in tools (code editor, calculator, etc). Each core feature was built in the mind of being isolated so they can stand on their own like a separate mini app.

The free tier has hard limits and should be treated as a demo.

The Pro tier is $10/month and is the de facto standard if you want to use Yumi for daily use.

I've been dogfooding and using Yumi everyday in my daily workflow and it's been quite nice so far. It's not perfect but it's gotten to the point where I'm quite satisfied and productive with it.

Just wanted to share this as a solo founder that has no idea if anyone would care about their product. But I know this is just the beginning of the journey. I'm just glad I even made it this far into the grind without quitting.
