I’m willing to do pay to support your work, curious if and how much this was vibe coded and if you intend to support into the future.
gkaimakas•4h ago
Hey, thanks for the reply.

I had Claude help me with linking libtorrent to swift since this is not something I do at work normally.

The rest was done by me

gkaimakas•4h ago
Of course it will be updated in the future. I have implemented a feedback feature to understand what users want and prioritize
inigyou•5h ago
Spoiler: it's yet another wrapper for libtorrent
gkaimakas•4h ago
It would be foolish to assume that reimplementing a torrent library is feasible for anyone. Open source code is meant to be reused.

I can assure you that integrating with libtorrent was the easy part and completed in mere hours :)

inigyou•4h ago
Call me crazy but I interpret a new torrent program to torrent newly, else it's just a reskin.
gkaimakas•3h ago
By your own definition every program in the planet is a reskin of something if it’s using open source code.

I’d expect strangers on the internet to be less mean than this.

inigyou•2h ago
Firefox on iOS is just reskinned Safari, yes

iOS is a reskin of Unix
