I also think now, or at least in the very near future, thanks to AI, it will be quite easy to create nice-looking games. So the biggest differentiator will be atmosphere or emotions that can be created for the player.
With A Dark Cave I made a humble attempt at this and I am still actively working on it: a-dark-cave.com
The game mixes quite a few genres: incremental, semi-idle, settlement building, resource management, survival, and more.
It is playable in the browser on desktop and mobile. It will also launch on Steam later this year.
The game can still feel rough in places. Sound design in particular still needs work.
Happy to hear any feedback. Especially whether it creates any atmosphere for you.

Funny anecdote: when I first started making the game, it had almost no visuals at all, just text on a black background. Many players commented that it was perfect for playing at work because it barely looked like a game. Employers hate me.
