Built this after being pretty unhappy with the current landscape of selfhosted options. I wanted a Bible web app that actually does what I need: Strong's numbers, interlinear views, global search, commentaries, dictionaries, dyslexia friendly fonts, and more.
I have been using it myself for the last couple of months and just wrapped it up to release to the world. Hopefully others can take it and have fun with it. Maybe someone in one of the 51 nations where owning a Bible can still land you in jail(or worse) can use this as another tool to get around the tyranny over the minds of man[1].
Completely static, no database, no backend- nothing. You can host this thing on a raspberry pi or a cell phone. (Building the assets will need a linux system, tested MX Linux which is a debian flavor) I deployed the source without assets since the static html flavor of the site is like 1GB by itself.
Bitbucket link to fork or clone at bottom of the linked page.

This is thoughtfully done!
I use canonreader.com on the web and The Literal Word bible app as an actual app that has one of the best UIs for reading. AndBible is really good for breadth and quality of resources.
I will add this to my rotation.
Also, I love to see a variety of fonts and the WEB version here.
Thanks for making this!

Love it! Should try it with each set of religious books across all faiths.
