Hi I am an entry level software developer in the UK and over past few months it's been super difficult to land a role. I saw this video and was wondering if someone had a similar experience

Cheers

mc7alazoun•1h ago
I've had a similar situation a year ago in Australia .. and I aware of a few friends who are finding it difficult to a land a Tech Job!
alltobi•22m ago
True do you or them also needed sponsorship?
rationalist•51m ago
The person in the video needs to work on his presentation/communication skills.

I don't work in the Tech Industry, but I imagine being a good communicator is just as important as having good tech skills.

I didn't watch the video long enough to see if he gives statistics about his job search. I wonder how many interviews he had.

If interviews is the hard part for people here, try Toastmasters.

alltobi•22m ago
In the video he says he is an international student and based off my experience it's grim in the UK finding a sponsored role. Think that can be another reason why.
