The project consists of 10,000 unique, algorithmically generated characters. Inspired by the 1970s London punk scene, the cyberpunk movement, and the film Blade Runner, these avatars sport a 24x24 pixel "pixel art" aesthetic.

Each Punk possesses specific traits that determine its market value. There are five main character types:

Humans (9,881): The most common (6,039 men and 3,840 women).

Zombies (88): Green skin and red eyes.

Monkeys (24): Highly sought after by collectors.

Aliens (9): The rarest in the entire collection, with pale blue skin.

In addition to their type, Punks possess accessories (attributes) such as sunglasses, hats, pipes, or earrings. A Punk with 0 or 7 attributes is extremely rare.

Punks are not simply digital images; they represent a key milestone in the history of Web 3.0. It was one of the first times a smart contract enabled the decentralized proof of scarcity and ownership of a digital asset.
