I had an overlong code comment explaining some C++ casting issues. So I thought it would be good to ask Claude to turn that into a blog entry. That way I could pare back the comment and just link to the article.

When I asked other AI to review it, chaos ensued. Bugs were found, concepts were iterated, and I learned my original comment was actually confused. But when the dust settled, the various AI could not agree on the post's final form. So I had to be the one to make the call.

I'm imagining this second article (which summarizes that decision process) would be of more interest to the HackerNews crowd than the original C++ esoterica.
