Are we suddenly going to trust large corporations with our health, when they have blanket immunity on almost all vaccines in the US?

Dengvaxia comes to mind. There was an interesting article about it in Wired magazine shortly before the pandemic (and when we could look at these things in a non-partisan way).

Hundreds of children died as a result of the vaccine. It took almost two decades to take the company through court and they did find a link between the deaths and children that had already had dengue fever earlier in life.

The company never really took responsibility, but they were definitely directly responsible for it. While it was the children's immune system causing the deaths, there would have never been a reaction without taking the vaccine. Something that should have been tested, before giving it to thousands of children.

It's crazy to me that we can't hold any of these companies up to any scrutiny, because it's something the Republicans support.

I knew the left had gone crazy during the pandemic when at Halloween, there were fake gravestones in multiple neighbors yards and one of them said 'asking your doctor for a second opinion' alluding to the idea that asking your doctor about the Covid vaccine instead of just taking it blindly, would lead to your death.

The side that claims to be about science isn't following the science in almost any way.

Update: The downvotes prove my point. We really can't have sane discussions.
