AI has pros and cons for sure, one area I was hoping for it to shine is slide deck authoring. Perhaps I am looking in the wrong direction, but I haven’t found an AI driven workflow that hits the spot yet. Please share your recommendations…

My needs are (i) text editing (md would be best), (ii) diagram editing, (iii) style controls, (iv) a template system, (v) desk editing (move, group, reuse slides), (vi) free hosting (no ads) and (vii) pdf export - ymmv.

I use Claude and maybe a Figma skill would cover the diagram editing…?
