I’ve been building Rune, a software intelligence runtime for AI coding agents.

I ran it against OpenCode to see what it could surface from a real codebase.

One result stood out: "packages/opencode/src/agent/agent.ts" has 27 distinct direct dependents, spanning tools, sessions, agents, CLI and config.

Rune resolves the imports to actual files and builds the dependency relationships from there.

This is still an early experiment, but I thought the result was a useful example of the kind of codebase structure an agent can query instead of rediscovering it from scratch.
