It’s like every career goes through their progressive wave of replacement and emerges on the other side with the new tools. Hiring freezes and AI psychosis is no fun but I can see it passing slowly.
School teachers probably have the exact same crisis that programmers had. Their conversations and social media circle might not overlap as much and therefore, to each person, it’s a new discussion and it feels like a personal attack on their field.

In case trends only gives relative number for one comparison - every comparison included the same anchor term (searches about programmers) and every job is scaled against it, also exact phrases like "will AI replace accountants" were too rare for most jobs so each job combines a few phrasings with Trends "+" operator.
Google Trends disallows scraping so I built simple Chrome plugin that helped me to open all 96 comparisons manually and it automatically saved what each page loaded.
Interesting findings that I didn't expect - worry went up over the last year for every job except programmers which peaked in March 2024.
It measures attention and not a real risk also broad matching catches other meanings so a few jobs were dropped, but I hope you will find it interesting to check. All of it is on the page, and the data is a free CSV.
