I miss the clarity and aesthetics of VFDs, but I don't miss actual VFDs.

My KitchenAid oven and microwave both have VFD displays. They have degraded to the point of being almost unusable in just eight years.

To redeem myself a bit, spent the last 20 min disabling extensions to find out the culprit, but even with all of them disabled it's still unusable on my default profile. Then spent some time in about:config (and the normal settings like hardware acceleration), but coulnd't find anything obvious.
