Fun and new. I both like and don’t like that I don’t know which actions are going to be effective. Strategy..
Sn0wCoder•7mo ago
Congratulations on the release! Took me a minute to figure out it shows you which color laser you are going to get next. Only passed one level so guessing more to learn with 120 levels. Thanks for sharing.
pil0u•7mo ago
I'm in Europe, the game does not seem to be available here.
Y_Y•7mo ago
You think you have it bad?

I'm in Europe, on Android, had to walk uphill both ways to get here, running Firefox nightly from two weeks into the future, and eight foot deep in snow, barely staying warm by the light of the flamewars.

dave84•7mo ago
DropZap! Blast from the past, congrats on the new release. Not available in Europe though.
FlyingAvatar•7mo ago
Looks cool. I wish there was an explainer video, I was not clear how I beat the first level and I didn't realize there was a move limit until I ran out on level two. If all the numbers at the top had labels, it would help.

Also would be cool if there were sounds. I don't know if that's just because I am playing on my Mac, but it feels like something is missing with all these lasers firing and blocks being destroyed that there is no audio.

jebarker•7mo ago
Congrats! Did you document the development at all?
amichail•7mo ago
The development involved a lot of experimentation with the game mechanics. It felt like research at times.
vh311•7mo ago
Plays nice, congratulations on the release!

If this catches on, I think that the game could use an update in graphics at some point. Good job overall though and best of luck :)

NoPicklez•7mo ago
If anyone is out there is listening, I want an updated version of GeoDefense.

Such a good game

xenator•7mo ago
Unfortunately is not available in my region.

I never released anything in App Store. Can somebody explain why do people not just check all countries and publish everywhere? Is there any reason to not to release worldwide?

oweiler•7mo ago
Reminds me of a game I've played on C64 AS a kid.

Lazer maze?
doodpants•7mo ago
Wow, the original DropZap was one of my favorite iOS games ever! I was able to keep playing it for years after the final release, because I didn't upgrade my phone for a long time. By the time I stopped playing I was #1 or #2 on most of the leaderboards. I definitely have to check this new one out...

[Announcer: Thirty minutes later]

...subscription pricing only? Automatic delete. :-( If there were a one-time purchase option of, say, $10, I'd be willing to pay it.

amichail•7mo ago
You don't need to subscribe to play. The subscriptions are for removing the life regeneration delays.
doodpants•7mo ago
Yes, I understand that. Let me play the game as much as I want without enforced delays, without having to pay a recurring subscription price. I'll gladly pay a one-time cost for that.
amichail•7mo ago
I need more time to think about that. But for now, would you like an offer code that would give you a year with infinite lives?
doodpants•7mo ago
Sure, I'd accept that for now.
amichail•7mo ago
