The demo doesn't work for me, I upload the image and then nothing.
gametorch•7mo ago
Is it a large image? On my iPhone, it took a solid 30 seconds to open a really big, high resolution image from my photo album.

I know this is like uncouth, but could you open it in devtools and show me the output?

I've gotten hundreds of comments from other people on the internet who were able to use it. I would love to help fix whatever this bug is so you can try it out too.

sdovan1•7mo ago
I uploaded a photo and it took around 20 seconds. Maybe a loading indicator would help.
gametorch•7mo ago
Noted! Also adding predefined color palettes, like monochrome, sepia, etc.

I've found LLMs come up with really good color palettes, too.

vintermann•7mo ago
Yes, I didn't realize it would fit the palette too at first.

An interesting tool might be a mask tool, that let you highlight parts of the image to mark regions as weighted more highly in the clustering algorithm.

To be able to lock the palette would also be cool, but it would probably need some sort of dithering to be useful.

chaz6•7mo ago
Is there a way to export a terminal-coded version of the output?
