I was thinking about this the other day. It's great that people are able to build their own apps, but at some point you're going to hit something you can't resolve and you will need someone.

The more vibe-coded apps, the greater the need for actual experts.

The way this ad is worded strikes me as hitting at the heart of some deep trouble though.

You can vibe code an app and if it doesn't compile, you tell the AI to fix it, and often it does. If it isn't doing some obvious thing you want it to do, you ask it to fix it, and often it does. It gets you far enough to put it into production.

The things novices don't know to even ask it are things like "is this a race condition that could corrupt the database" and "is it vulnerable to remote code execution" and "is this system doing backups properly (or at all)". But if you wait until you notice those problems before trying to address them, you are right screwed.
