I work in Higher Ed IT. Used this to make a 3D Printed campus map two years ago for a fully blind student. I cleaned up the OpenStreetMap data in our area and it worked great!

With their canes, sound and tactile information, for example. I'm sure you've seen visually impaired people around and about on their own, no?

Great to see that Touch Mapper is being developed and maintained actively. I've used it (I think - maybe it was something similar) years ago together with a blind student and it was very helpful for them.
