I still attend a lot of minor league games. I sit close and watch every pitch, a habit I developed growing up in a family full of minor and even major league umps. As the OP article mentions it’s a great pastime for all walks of life. Minor league games aren’t even about winning most of the time as you get to watch coaches prepare players for the show instead of worrying too much about the final score. I love baseball and especially my local minor league team.
