If you’re as confused as I was when I clicked the link expecting to see a board, this is a software project rather than a hardware board.

Their website was a more informative introduction for me than the GitHub repo: https://thingsboard.io/

The IoT scene is so fun now with the robot.
isawczuk•1mo ago
Can you elaborate?
reconnecting•1mo ago
We’re working on an open-source product security platform (1) and are looking into integrating with ThingsBoard. This would help identify operator risk behavior, for example in cases of account takeover. Do you see any specific security features that are currently missing in IoT behavior/risk analytics?

Great platform, I've used it many times for many different production level IoT products, at times as an user facing dashboard and at times as an internal backbone to receive and process telemetry.
ABoredBirb•1mo ago
As someone that has worked with this for a year (pro edition): expose instances of this to the public at your own risk. This thing is riddled with security issues ranging from trivial to absolutely critical and the team developing this has completely ignored them, despite being repeatedly notified about them. Also, if you start developing on top of this, expect the code and feature quality to rapidly drop once you get past the initial presentation.

All surface level documentation failed to inform me what devices I can use this with.
