Show HN: Yellopages – New tab Chrome extension

https://yellopages.kawaicheung.io/
31•kiwigod17•4w ago
Hey all- I just released a New tab replacement Chrome extension that makes browsing a lot easier - it also solves many of the annoyances with browser tabs. It's called Yellopages and it's free. Hope you'll give it a try.

* Groups all tabs from same domain. Makes it simple to kill all your Gmail tabs in one click (or keep just one).

* Groups all tabs playing audio. Toggle the sound for each one.

* Single text search for open tabs, bookmarks, and browsing history.

* Groups all tabs with new notifications (e.g. emails, likes, posts, replies, etc.)

* One click to kill all tabs (e.g. you're sharing screen in Zoom). A second click brings them all back.

I'm a solo web developer and I'm hoping to build an audience with my work. More at: https://buymeacoffee.com/kawaicheung

I find somethings interesting, I'd be interested if a firefox roadmap is under the way/ you are thinking about it.

Regarding audience, please open source this if possible. Donations are much more easier to get when its open sourced and stars and contributions and overall opens up a lot more opportunities

and for the average person it gives us safety of mind. I would highly appreciate if you could open source it, maybe even in a GPL license if you want it to be restrictive.

Wishing the best for your project!

Thanks for the kind thoughts and useful ideas! Open sourcing makes a lot of sense. My projects are usually super small so never really considered the open sourcing angle on projects like these. I will definitely consider that.

I wish the site showed information even on mobile/non chrome browsers.
true_religion•4w ago
It’s working here on iOS safari.

Updated to have info on mobile. Thanks for the feedback!

Looks great! I second the wish though to have this on Firefox as well!

Also please add more infos to your mobile site, a lot of people browse HN on their phone, so you are missing out on all of them!

Will definitely update the mobile site this week. Thanks for the feedback!
