> Why is the Left No Fun?

Because to the extent that collectivism works at all, it requires that you create an extreme power hierarchy that compels people to do work they do not want to do and to accept whatever meager resources the state decides to offer them.

The type of people who think this is a good thing A. Believe they will be the ones in power rather than subject to power B. Are not very nice or fun people

bombcar•45m ago
I mean the quick and sarcastic answer (which has some truth to it) is that the "left" doesn't have kids for the bouncy castle, so why waste the money on it?

Perhaps a ball pit?

Mallory_Ringess•8m ago
They'd be starting riots over the colours of the balls and the fact that some colours are missing which is a sign of systemic something, over who gets to use the ball pit and who does not, over the fact that the balls are made of plastic which is bad for the climate/the environment, over the connection between ball pits and slavery/colonialism/*-ism, over the absence of trigger warnings for those scared of balls or pits, over the stolen land on which the ball pit has been erected and many other similarly inane subjects.

They won't have fun no matter what because we're not on earth to have fun like the dour ministers who preached bleak sermons used to say. Now that Gott ist tot [1] there is no more place for those dour ministers so they changed their religion from Christianity to leftism where they get to preach their dour sermons to a new audience. Repent, sinners.

"We still haven't done socialism right yet"

And where did the 24B homeless fix go

Where did the 18B HSR go

Same places they went in the countries that "didn't get communism right".

In Cuba they went to the elites. In America we call them NGOs.
