People are now starting to turn out for WNBA. Relatability matters, and generational shifts matter.

Perhaps a league for retired stars would do well. The older demographics still spend lots of discretionary money, and it could lead to clothing deals and sponsorships if athletes came out of retirement in a new league of on rotation.

As Marvel films go to show, reboots with old faces tend to draw in crowds.
