Hey HN Fam,

We are excited to share Runner with everyone. We have been working on this for the past few months and are super excited to share it with the world.

What makes Runner different than other AI apps / Cowork?

Runner is action oriented -> We have spent a ton of time working on how your task gets interpreted, delegated and passed between your apps to get you what you need. We benchmark it, and ours gets better each week.

Runner remembers -> We have first class built in memory and team memory. This means that each time you use Runner it learns and gets smarter.

Runner runs on your computer -> Runner access the cloud but lives locally. This means that you can do work across Word, Excel, text messages, Apple Reminders, and files on your computer. It’s like an AI superapp with access to your machine and the cloud.

Runner can drive -> Well, it can drive your browser. We have a first class built in MCP server that lets us automate browser tasks for you. This is a game changing and something most people haven’t tried before.

Runner stays connected -> We invested a ton of time into how your connected apps connect and stay connected to make it more fun and easy to work with each day.

Runner automates what can be automated -> Stitch together complex workflows between apps and files and whatever else you need and put them on a schedule. Runner makes sure they run and you get notified when the work is done.

Runner is built with your privacy and security in mind -> We are undergoing final SOC2 audits and are CASA audited. We built your privacy and autonomy in mind and always ask before taking an action the first time.

If you have tried ChatGPT or Claude, or any other AI app, you should give Runner a look and see how its output compares. I promise you won’t be disappointed. We can’t wait for you to give it a try and tell us what you think.

---

Give it a try and let us know.

how did you integrate with google services ? is it through OAuth ?
kentf•41m ago
Yes it is!
panlee•2h ago
I was skeptical at first, Claude Cowork is already pretty good. But Runner is so much better!

I have no idea how they did it but I was able to hook up my 7 (yes SEVEN) gmail accounts to it and have it flag what's important for me to deal with right away. No hacky work around, no forwarding all your emails to a new central email.

If your life doesn't fit neatly into a single Gmail connection and a single Google Calendar, this is for you.

Thanks for the great feedback. Agreed, I am really using it for all of the Google in my life.

Just downloaded Runner. Love the UX so far, much better than Claude and especially Manus. Great job on the design!

Thanks for the great feedback. We spend a lot of time making the UX as best as can be and glad that it shows.
