I’m building The Thousand, an experiment to bring together 1,000 founders and brands to answer the same question:

“What will look completely different in 2030?”

Each founder can claim one of 1,000 pages under their brand name. The page includes their logo, website, and prediction.

The unique part is the live auction format: pages can be claimed and founders can compete for positions through bids, turning the process of building the book into a public experiment.

When all 1,000 pages are filled, the predictions will be compiled into a book. The eBook will be free, with a printed edition available as well.

The goal is to create a time capsule of what 1,000 people building technology today think the future will look like.

I’m currently at the very beginning and would love feedback from the HN community on the concept, auction mechanics, and whether this could produce an interesting book.

Nope, stop with the outbid.lol slop.

Go advertise somewhere else, HN is not the place for you.
