I've been working on an unofficial Grindr client since March. I started by reverse-engineering Grindr API, documenting all its quirks as detailed as possible. Then made a cross-platform app (unfortunately, I have no time to maintain 5 codebases for a social network client). It has no ads, no analytics, no trackers, supports reproducible builds proved by 3-5 ephemeral CI VMs from different countries, on different CPU models. It has already been published to Google Play with code transparency and the MR to F-Droid is getting reviewed right now. And it appears the community liked it, since there are now almost 70k downloads (only those reported in Forgejo), 4k+ people in Telegram announcements channel mirror and 600+ people in the Matrix chat :)
