I want to get rid of doom scrolling, still getting to use Youtube and Instagram. I'm trying to add a custom filter on Adguard that should block shorts.
Do you think it could work?

No, they are always changing the things you can match on and reducing the capabilities of tools that modify sites (e.g. extension v3)
I gave up, click the show less, and have ambition to build my own feed, need to process history first.
