It's my understanding that it was traced definitively to Taylor Farms, but the only positive test may have been a false positive.
You don't always get a positive test, but this doesn't necessarily prevent you from concluding the cause of food contamination.

That reads to me as trying to browbeat the other person with a fallacy of equivocation.
These are not the same:
1. A biological test for one sample of lettuce in the factory was a false-positive.
2. Identifying the facility and company as a shared source of bad supplies was a false-positive and actually they had nothing at all to do with it in any way.
