Ineffective clickbait. Is there any suspense? What could a conde nast property possibly say about a non-left political figure?

Pharma does not fund research into questions that do not optimize revenue. Consequently most research concludes in pharmaceutical recommendations.

Maybe pharmacology works better than chopping of dead racoon penises, or swimming in sewage?

"During Trump’s second term, DOGE cuts led to the firing or retirement of an estimated 75% of the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality staff".

The damage done is deep and cuts to the bone.

> Pharma does not fund research [that does not pay back]

Fortunately we have public research. Public and private research are totally different beasts in nature. Most of the science done in the planet is public (and underfunded or free), and can explore where pharma does not dare to enter.

Ironically, most MAGA are on the group with higher risk to die for lack of the public healthcare research that they still refuse to fund. They put their lives and hopes on the private research, unaware that most of them will not be able to afford it.
